Leeds United have confirmed their starting XI for this afternoon’s Premier League trip to Brighton and Hove Albion, with Daniel Farke making one notable change involving Gabriel Gudmundsson.
James Trafford starts in goal as Leeds look to continue their impressive defensive record. The Whites have conceded just once so far this season and will need another disciplined display against a Brighton side that has scored seven goals across their opening two league matches.

Gudmundsson makes his first appearance of the season after recovering from a hamstring injury and comes into the starting lineup. He is joined in defence by James Justin, Nico Elvedi, Tarik Muharemovic and Jayden Bogle.
Ethan Ampadu captains the side and partners Ao Tanaka in central midfield, while Anton Stach also starts in the middle of the pitch.
Noah Okafor keeps his place in attack alongside Dominic Calvert-Lewin. Leeds will be hoping the pair can provide the attacking threat needed to end a frustrating record at the Amex, where they have failed to score in their last eight visits.
Deadline-day arrivals Melvin Bard and Jean-Matteo Bahoya have both been included among the substitutes. Farke had described Bard as “an experienced player on a really good level”, while calling Bahoya an “exciting young project”.
Joe Rodon is absent after suffering a serious hamstring injury, with Farke confirming that the defender could be sidelined for up to ten weeks.
Leeds face a difficult test, but their defensive start to the season gives Farke’s side plenty of reason to believe they can frustrate Brighton once again.
