Leeds United have named their starting XI for their first home Premier League game of the 2026/27 season as Brentford visit Elland Road this afternoon.
Daniel Farke’s side arrive with a perfect record after beating Nottingham Forest twice in their opening fixtures. Anton Stach’s free-kick secured a 1-0 league victory before Daniel James and James Justin scored in a 2-0 Carabao Cup success three days later.
Leeds United lineup vs Brentford
James Trafford starts in goal as he looks to make it three consecutive clean sheets. In front of him, Jayden Bogle starts at right wing-back, while James Justin keeps his place on the left after scoring in midweek.
Jaka Bijol returns to the defence, replacing Nico Elvedi, with Joe Rodon and Tarik Muharemovic alongside him. Ethan Ampadu captains the side and partners Anton Stach in midfield.
Harry Wilson drops to the bench, meaning Brenden Aaronson moves across to the right side of the attack. Okafor starts on the other flank, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin leading the line.
Leeds will face a Brentford side that also made a strong start to the campaign. The visitors beat Tottenham Hotspur 3-0 last weekend before following that result with a 6-1 Carabao Cup win over Birmingham City.
Confirmed Lineup: Trafford, Bogle, James Justin, Bijol, Rodon, Muharemovic, Ampadu, Stach, Aaronson, Okafor, Calvert-Lewin
Leeds United will be hoping their winning run continues as they look to make another positive start to life back in the Premier League.
