Leeds United lineup confirmed as they return to the City Ground tonight for a Carabao Cup second-round clash with Nottingham Forest, just three days after beating the same opponents 1-0 in the Premier League.
Daniel Farke has named his confirmed starting XI for the cup tie, with James Trafford retaining his place in goal. The goalkeeper impressed on his competitive debut at the weekend, keeping a clean sheet as Anton Stach’s late free-kick settled the game.

Trafford starts behind a three-man defence of Nico Elvedi, Joe Rodon and Muharemovic. James Justin and Ethan Ampadu provide the width from the wing-back positions.
Noah Okafor starts while he is joined in midfield by Sean Longstaff and Ao Tanaka, while Daniel James operates behind Lukas Nmecha.

Forest head coach Oliver Glasner is taking the tie equally seriously after suffering defeat in his first competitive match in charge. He said: “A lot of players look good and fresh and tomorrow is a cup competition. We want to have the same approach no matter the competition and try to win a trophy.”
Daniel Farke also knows the knockout format creates a different challenge.
‘The way you play the cup is slightly different to a Premier League game because it’s a do or die game. There is always a winner in the end, and even if it’s with a penalty shootout,’ Daniel Farke said.
