Daniel Farke was pleased with Leeds United’s unbeaten start after his side earned a point away at Brighton & Hove Albion, but the manager admitted the Whites could have taken all three points at the Amex.
Jayden Bogle gave Leeds the lead before Brighton fought back after the break. Despite creating opportunities to extend their advantage, Farke’s team had to settle for a draw.
Speaking to BBC Match of the Day, Farke said: “It’s a good point on the road. It’s a tough place to come so it’s a good point because Brighton are a good team. But we had a chances to win it. Normally if you miss so many chances in an away game, you come away with no points so I’m happy to have a point in our hands.”
The result leaves Leeds United with five points from their opening three Premier League games, including two difficult away fixtures.
“It’s a very good start for us – two difficult away games. It can always be better but overall it’s a good start and we are happy with it.”

Dominic Calvert-Lewin had opportunities to add to Leeds’ lead but couldn’t find the net. Farke, though, was quick to praise the forward’s overall contribution.
“Dominic was a big leader for us. He normally puts his chances to bed, but he’s a fantastic leader, fantastic player and we are happy to have him.”
Leeds have now lost just one of their last 12 Premier League matches, while Bogle’s opener also ended a remarkable 759-minute wait for an away goal against Brighton.
